Sandra is a primary school teacher with over thirty five years teaching experience in both the mainstream and learning support contexts.
She has a particular interest in supporting and motivating children with language problems and difficulty with reading, writing and spelling. Her areas of expertise include literacy difficulties in general and specific learning difficulties (dyslexia).
She holds a post graduate diploma in special needs and her Masters of Education (Special Learning Difficulties/Dyslexia) was completed in 2017 in DCU’s Institute of Education.
She is an associate member of the British Dyslexia Association and is available to evaluate the learning strengths and needs of primary school children. She can design programmes tailored to meet their needs.
Sandra is based in Lucan and is available to assess and tutor primary school children.
