Sinead is a primary school teacher based in Longford. She has experience teaching a broad range of classes in a variety of school settings. 

 

She completed a Masters in specific learning Difficulties/Dyslexia in 2017. She undertook this area of study because she has a passion for teaching literacy and intervention programmes for children with language, reading and writing needs. 

 

Since completing her studies she has become a home tutor to children with dyslexia. This involves planning work based on the child's learning needs and teaching to meet those needs in a fun learning environment.

 

She has experience tutoring children with a broad range of reading difficulty, dyspraxia and disgraphia. She also provides tuition in maths to secondary school children experiencing difficulty with dyslexia, processing and memory needs.
